IPMS WEST DES MOINES CHAPTER

15th Annual IPMS Plastic Surgeons' Contest
This year we went with a points-based judging system. Each model was judged against itself based on construction, finish, overall appearance, and degree of difficulty. Each model was judged by three judges [or teams of judges], and the scores were averaged. The top scoring models were then awarded Gold, Silver, or Bronze. Since this was point-based and not category based, some contestants received multiple awards.
JUNIORS
All juniors received an "Award of Excellence" certificate and an AmTech Ju-88 model kit.
