The following photo-etch sets are for Trumpeter's 1/35 LAV-R kit (#370).
#36-008 LAV-R
Trumpeter has put out a wonderful line of LAV
based kits. And Eduard followed suit with their LAV PE sets. And the LAV-R
set is top notch. The set includes two PE brass frets, and a clear
acetate film. The PE set includes exhaust and intake grills, ammo belts,
ammo cans, stowage straps and much more. It also includes the driver's
windshield [both frame and "glass"]. This is a nice touch, as it is not
included in the base kit. The PE frets also have holes along the edges
designed for creating your own bolt heads. Nice touch, Eduard!

Conclusion
Overall, I was very impressed with the set. Eduard has done a great job of providing photo etched parts to enhance the LAV-R. I would like to thank Eduard for the review sets.
